Unicorn Athame

This witch implement is formed primarily of a unicorn's horn, with the shorn edge rounded into a concavity, which is filled by a black-and-purple gem.

Its history is unknown; Aemhan purchased it from a fiendish vendor in the Dark Bazaar.

Its powers stem from the perversion of its nature. However, such is the power and purity of the unicorn, that it retains powers more akin to its proper nature--if, however, at a steep cost.

• Special Powers:
  • Mend Injury: Daily, std, touch; you heal one injury. However, you suffer ability damage to all scores equal to the Bleeding rank of the injury.
  • Purification: Daily, std, touch; you remove one affliction. However, you suffer ability damage to all scores equal to the Bleeding rank of the injury.
  • Sanctuary: Monthly, immediate, close burst 10, allies only; you instantly teleport subjects, ignoring any effects (rank 5 or lower) which bar or tamper with teleportation. You do not control the location; rather, you appear in the nearest forest sanctuary, wherein beings of a unicorn's normal alignment would find solace.
